The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF, in Dutch: EFRO) focuses on decreasing the most pressing economic differences between the regions. In the Netherlands there are several ERDF programs which fund innovation, development and cooperation. Our cities are currently involved in the following ERDF projects:
Biodegradable engineering plastics - Emmen
In this valorization project, Senbis Polymer Innovations is making a new class of biodegradable polymers with high mechanical properties and low cost. The challenge is to use these to make technically high-quality plastics. It is a breakthrough technology.
